Before Convoy, Dan served as General Manager of New Shopping Experiences at Amazon, as well as Vice President of Product and Operations at Wavii (acquired by Google), and Group Product Manager at Microsoft. Dan started his career in technology and supply chain consulting for Oliver Wyman, after studying cognitive science at Yale University.
Prior to Convoy, Grant worked at Amazon, founded and served as CEO of gaming studio Massively Fun, and held senior positions at multiple startups including Reactivity (acquired by Cisco) and Context Optional (acquired by Adobe). Grant earned computer science degrees from the University of Southern California and Cornell University.
At Convoy, Ziad is responsible for data science, design, product management and program management. Before Convoy, Ziad was the Chief Product Officer of Marchex, Chief Executive Officer of CitiKey, and served in other leadership roles at Microsoft. Ziad earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and an MSc in Computer Science from the Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden.
Prior to Convoy, Brian served as Managing Partner for Olympic Valley Capital and CEO at Cal Net Technology Group. Previously, he was a partner at Duane Street Capital, and an investment professional at Bertram Capital focused on B2B services. He was formerly a management consultant at Oliver Wyman, specializing in supply chain optimization. Brian earned a BA in economics and an MBA from Stanford University.
Previously, Diankha held senior legal roles at Nordstrom, Expeditors International of Washington, the U.S. Department of Education, Office for Civil Rights and Perkins Coie, after serving in the United States Army for 16 years. Diankha earned her law degree from the University of Pennsylvania and received her BA in political science and military science from the University of Washington.
Prior to Convoy, Michael led a product and engineering team at Amazon, where he worked with Dan and Grant. Michael has a long track record at startups: he co-founded Redfin, helped launch Zillow, and built another startup that he sold to Amazon. Michael earned his BS from Yale and his MSEE from the University of Washington.
Brooks and his team are responsible for developing and growing strategic partnerships at Convoy. Previously, Brooks served in a variety of senior management roles at companies including Marchex, and Getty Images. Brooks earned an MBA from the University of Washington and a BS from Santa Clara University.
Tim leads the engineering organization at Convoy. Prior to coming to Convoy, he founded and rapidly grew Uber's Seattle Engineering office. Before that, he was at Isilon Systems holding a variety of engineering leadership roles from individual contributor to Director of Engineering. Tim earned his BS in Computer Engineering from the University of Washington.
Kristen leads Convoy's Supply organization. As one of Convoy's earliest employees, she previously led Operations, Finance, PR, Legal, HR, and Marketing organizations. Prior to Convoy, Kristen held senior Operations roles at Rover.com and Product Management roles at Amazon. Her early career focused on finance and strategy. Kristen earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in Finance and Marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Melissa leads revenue functions at Convoy, including Sales, Business Development, Account Management, and Customer Service. Melissa has a history of helping scale companies to disrupt traditional industries. Prior to joining Convoy, Melissa was Chief Sales Officer at PayScale, where she led sales and demand gen organizations. Melissa also helped grow and sell automotive advertising disruptor, Cobalt to ADP. Melissa brings her midwestern grit from her MBA at Wright State University and BS in Economics from The University of Dayton.
Prior to Convoy, Ryan served as Amazon Web Services (AWS) General Manager for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning where he oversaw the marketing and strategy for the broadest and deepest set of machine learning services in the industry. As a Microsoft executive, Ryan served in a broad range of leadership roles including General Manager for Microsoft's multibillion-dollar Surface devices business, as well Search and AI. Ryan attended Seattle Pacific University, where he received BA in business administration and management.
