During your 12-week internship with Convoy, you will work on meaningful and challenging projects, all while being supported by your mentor, manager, and team.
We work hard at Convoy, but we also save time to play. You will have the opportunity to fully immerse yourself in Convoy’s culture and participate in company and intern cohort social events all around Seattle. From boat excursions on Lake Washington to Seattle sporting events, we want you to experience everything the city has to offer.
Having joined Convoy through an internship partnership with Ada Developers Academy, I knew I was coming to a company that would support my growth as a non-traditional, early-career engineer. What I hadn’t anticipated was the true outpouring of support from all corners of Convoy. From other engineers, to managers, HR, learning advocates — you name it, and support was there. Convoy is an exciting place to be for many reasons and opportunities for impact abound but, for me, it’s the people and the culture that make all the difference and keep me excited about learning more and working harder!
After completing an internship at Convoy, I was eager to return due to my overall experience with the team, projects and future directions of the company. I was aligned with a project that fit my career goals and interests along with receiving ample support from my team on any technical, design-specific or general questions. I worked on contributing to an open-source project that helped data discovery (Amundsen) and felt like my work was recognized both within the company and also outside, such as through chatting with the co-creators of Amundsen on my contributions. There are many interesting opportunities and projects at Convoy to grow as an engineer, and I'm excited for what's to come.

If your application is selected to move forward, you will complete a recruiter screen and approximately three hours total of virtual interviews. Interview results will be provided within one week after your final interview.

Begin your 12-week internship in Seattle, Washington. We’ll provide a monthly housing stipend and free public transportation so you can fully experience the city. If you enjoyed your internship experience, we hope you’ll return full time after graduation!
All interns will be located in Seattle, WA. You are welcome to work in the office for as many days as you would like. Many Convoyagers work from the office multiple days a week in order to meet with their team and attend company social events.
Additionally, Convoy provides relocation assistance and a monthly housing stipend to cover your rent and living expenses.
Internships at Convoy are 12 weeks.
The main goal for Convoy’s internship program is to convert interns to full time hires after graduation. Full time conversion depends on performance throughout the internship.
At the moment, we only offer summer internships. This way you will develop stronger relationships with your intern cohort and lean on one another for support. Plus, Seattle summers are the best (we might be biased!).
