What is freight factoring? Freight factoring is all about cash flow. If carriers have slow-paying customers or brokers then they may have to wait up to 60 days to get paid for your work. However, carriers need cash flow to pay their expenses such as fuel, insurance, payroll, repairs, and more. That’s where freight factoring […]
As part of our constant focus on reducing the hassle for carriers, we’re excited to share several updates to Carrier Web, our web-based experience. These updates enable carriers to easily find work and manage the loads they’ve hauled as part of running and growing their businesses.
By eliminating trailer loading and unloading wait times, Convoy power only loads require an average of 6 hours less to complete than traditional live loads to and from the same facilities. Carriers who are hauling power only loads in Convoy’s network are doing so 30% of the time, and generating up to $19,000 more revenue per truck per year through increasing the number of loads they are able to haul.
We are launching four features designed to make every day tasks easier for truck drivers in our network.
Convoy Factoring extends innovative QuickPay program to non-Convoy loads and introduces new fuel card to help carriers save an industry-leading $19,000 a year in operating costs.
