Truck Driver Appreciation Week: Four New Convoy App Features

We are launching four features designed to make every day tasks easier for truck drivers in our network. 

Location Tracking Self-Diagnostics

Carriers can see whether Convoy is able to sync their location while they are picking up and delivering for Convoy loads. If issues are occurring, the app will provide guidance on how to configure your device to keep location updates flowing as best as possible for every load with no phone calls required. Having accurate location tracking means fewer check calls, hassle-free detention, and free Convoy QuickPay!

Here’s how it works:

  1. In the load details page, tap Location Status to see details
  2. In the location tracking page, ensure all fields have a green checks
  3. If needed, scroll to the bottom of the page and tap Send Current Location


Multi-page Document Uploading and Scanning

To streamline in-app document scanning, carriers can now quickly snap pictures of all the pages of the Bill of Lading, one after the next. 

Here’s how it works:

  1. After completing a load, select Add Docs and Photos 
  2. Take a picture of Bill of Lading’s first page & then tap Next Page
  3. Capture the additional pages & then tap Next
  4. Once all pages are captured, tap Confirm All


Statewide Search

In addition to cities, carriers can now search for and request loads by state. Just type in the state name or abbreviation in either the search or request a load fields. This feature is available in the newest version of the Convoy mobile app so ensure you’re up-to-date by checking the App store!

Here’s how it works:

  1. Enter a state name or abbreviation for pickup or delivery in search
  2. Enter the desired dates or select all dates & tap Search
  3. View all loads picking up or delivering in your selected states
  4. Create an alert to get notifications when there are new loads matching your search


Swipe to Book

No more accidental bookings – we’ve updated the booking confirmation button to be a swipe instead of a tap. This feature is available in the newest version of the Convoy mobile app!
